The Whisky List Note: Scott drinks the whisky. I just sniff it and report based on what he tells me, and I do that from memory. Your malt mileage may vary. |
|
| Current Assortment of Single Malts | |
| 12 year old | |
| Scapa | Quite possibly the world's best whisky, from the little distillery on Orkney. The only whisky you'd ever need if you were stranded on a remote island, which explains why the distillery is on a remote island. |
| 10 year old | |
| Glenkinchie | From Edinburgh. Not bad. |
| Benriach | From Elgin. Benriach still malt their own barley. Drinkable. |
| Graveyard of Empty Bottles | |
| Ardbeg | Claims to be the most peaty malt whisky in the world. A bit rough. You'll "beg" for something else. |
| Auchentoshan | A lowland malt. Comes from Glasgow. Can't say we miss it. |
| The Balvenie | Not as bad as Ardbeg. |
| The Edradour | From the smallest distillery in Scotland, perhaps with reason. |
| Highland Park | The northernmost Scotch whisky distillery in the world. Orkney's second best whisky. Quintessentially whiskylike. The distillery has a nice cat. |
| Strathisla | Heart of the Chivas blend. Drinkable. |
