The Whisky List

Note: Scott drinks the whisky. I just sniff it and report based on what he tells me, and I do that from memory. Your malt mileage may vary.

Current Assortment of Single Malts
12 year old
Scapa Quite possibly the world's best whisky, from the little distillery on Orkney. The only whisky you'd ever need if you were stranded on a remote island, which explains why the distillery is on a remote island.
10 year old
Glenkinchie From Edinburgh. Not bad.
Benriach From Elgin. Benriach still malt their own barley. Drinkable.

Graveyard of Empty Bottles
Ardbeg Claims to be the most peaty malt whisky in the world. A bit rough. You'll "beg" for something else.
Auchentoshan A lowland malt. Comes from Glasgow. Can't say we miss it.
The Balvenie Not as bad as Ardbeg.
The Edradour From the smallest distillery in Scotland, perhaps with reason.
Highland Park The northernmost Scotch whisky distillery in the world. Orkney's second best whisky. Quintessentially whiskylike. The distillery has a nice cat.
Strathisla Heart of the Chivas blend. Drinkable.
